The name Jehovah Tsidkenu is used only twice in the Old Testament, in the book of Jeremiah. It can be translated as ‘the Lord our Righteousness’, showing God’s justice and righteousness.
This title of God is first used in Jeremiah 23:6:
5 “For the time is coming,”
says the Lord,
“when I will raise up a righteous descendant
from King David’s line.
He will be a King who rules with wisdom.
He will do what is just and right throughout the land.
6 And this will be his name:
‘The Lord Is Our Righteousness.’
In that day Judah will be saved,
and Israel will live in safety.Jeremiah 23:5-6
When we declare that God is Jehovah Tsidkenu, we declare that He is just and righteous. Jesus paid the price for our sins through His death on the cross, and through Him, we are made righteous (in right standing with God) when we choose to repent and accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.

Consider God as Jehovah Tsidkenu.
Take some time to meditate on this aspect of God and worship Him for being your Jehovah Tsidkenu.
Write down what it means for God to be Jehovah Tsidkenu in your life.
