The title ‘Jehovah Shammah’ occurs once in the Old Testament, in the prophetic vision of Ezekiel. The title means ‘the Lord is there’ and is a name prophetically spoken over Israel’s capital city,  Jerusalem. 

And the name of the city from that time on will be: the LORD is there.

Ezekiel 48:35

When we call God by this title, we acknowledge that He is there with us; His abiding presence is in our today and our tomorrow. We acknowledge that because the Lord is there, we are never alone.   

Consider God as Jehovah Shammah.
