We, as a church, have experienced and believe in the transformative power of God’s love. Therefore, we aim to follow His leading, not only in our personal lives, but in how we reach out to the community as a church. We want to reflect God’s unconditional love, and our prayer is that God will share His heart for this beautiful village with us. Keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus as our Saviour, our Redeemer, and our Good Shepherd, we hope to share the hope and light that only God can bring with the people of Roe Green.

FOLLOWING JESUS
As we follow Jesus, we read and study scripture during our weekly Sunday gatherings and our Bible study groups. We take time to pray together during our services and during Prayer and Worship evenings. We also pray and fast together as a church once every quarter of the year specifically for God’s leading for the church.
We seek to follow the leading and counsel of the Holy Spirit in all that we do. As followers of Jesus, our desire is to reach the lost and spread the Gospel of salvation. We try to model community and life, as Jesus teaches us in the Bible, through times of fellowship and encouraging a culture of supporting and praying for each other.
Above all, we praise God for who He is and what He has done, through prayer, worship, and the way we live our lives.

BUILDING FAMILY AND COMMUNITY
1 Corinthians 13 teaches us that love is patient, kind, not jealous, not boastful, not proud, and not rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable and keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).
As we seek to build family and community, we start from a place of love. Our community is centred on Jesus Christ and the inspired word of God through scripture and the Holy Spirit, and as we pray and serve together in unity, we grow closer together as community and family. As with following Jesus, building family and community is intentional and what we strive towards.
LOVING ROE GREEN
Roe Green Church has been at the heart of Roe Green village for over two centuries. We love being a part of the village, and we know that God loves Roe Green more than we ever could. We believe that God has great plans for Roe Green, and has called us to love and serve our local community as we love and serve Him. We regularly pray for the residents and businesses of Roe Green for God’s blessing, and we hold regular events in which we go out around Roe Green to pray and share God’s love.
