‘The Truth’ is a title that Jesus uses to describe Himself.
The Pharisees replied, “You are making those claims about yourself! Such testimony is not valid.”
Jesus told them, “These claims are valid even though I make them about myself. For I know where I came from and where I am going, but you don’t know this about me. You judge me by human standards, but I do not judge anyone. And if I did, my judgment would be correct in every respect because I am not alone. The Father who sent me is with me. Your own law says that if two people agree about something, their witness is accepted as fact. I am one witness, and my Father who sent me is the other.”
“Where is your father?” they asked.
Jesus answered, “Since you don’t know who I am, you don’t know who my Father is. If you knew me, you would also know my Father.”John 8:13-19
In this passage, Jesus explains how God the Father corroborates the truth about who Jesus is. When we refer to Jesus as the Truth, we acknowledge that He is Truth incarnate. He is a living embodiment of the true promise of God (the Messiah), who was sent to bring life and salvation to all.
We acknowledge that Jesus not only physically embodies God’s truth, but also speaks true things. His words are true, His commands are true and His promises are true.
Jesus often spoke of coming to earth in love. The love of God is the truest love you will ever experience.

Consider God as The Truth.
Take some time to meditate on this aspect of God and worship Him for being The Truth.
Write down what it means for God to be The Truth in your life.
